Gethin MTB is based right in the heart of the action at Pontiscill Village Hall, overlooking Pontiscill Reservoir. From here, we have direct trail access to some of the best riding in South Wales, and we're just minutes from Bike Park Wales.

Pontiscill Reservoir Loop

A gentle, family-friendly route circling the reservoir with stunning views of the Brecon Beacons. Mostly flat with well-surfaced paths.

Blue

Taf Trail

A scenic route following the River Taff through woodland and open countryside. Great for building confidence with gentle climbs and flowing descents.

Red

Forest Tracks

Technical forest singletrack through the plantations surrounding Pontiscill. Rocky sections, rooty climbs, and rewarding descents for experienced riders.

Pontiscill Village Hall is located on the road between Pontsticill and Torpantau, overlooking the reservoir. The postcode is CF48 2UE. From the A470, head north past Merthyr Tydfil and follow signs for Pontsticill.
